Platform Engineering and AI Agents: Spec-Driven development for IaC

In Platform Engineering, AI agents can speed up IaC management, but without clear boundaries, they can also amplify errors and operational impact. In this talk, we'll look at a spec-driven approach in which dedicated agents operate with specific identities, explicit guardrails, and a purpose-built toolchain (MCP, prompts, and focused skills). The goal is to use AI reliably to manage cloud-native infrastructure with greater control, traceability, and security.
